Baltic Sea Oysters in St. Petersburg
This image is based on a vacation photo shared on social media by a friend while was traveling in Russia. I like the composition and perspective of the oysters in relation to the woman in the background, also the light, shadow, and reflections very much appealed to me. I received permission from him & the subject to interpret the photo with my paints, and I am pleased with the results. My wife likes this one and can see it hanging in a museum someday, but of course my wife is biased.
