Floyd in “True Romance”
Director/writer Quentin Tarantino’s first screenplay to made into a major motion picture was “True Romance” (1993) directed by Tony Scott & starring Christian Slater as Clarence and Patricia Arquette Clarence’s wife Alabama. Shortly after his breakthrough role in “Thelma and Louise” Brad Pitt had a small but hilarious role in True Romance, playing Floyd, Clarence’s friend Dick’s clueless stoner roommate. Necessity is the mother of invention, so Floyd has fashioned a very effective water pipe out of a plastic honey bear shaped honey bottle.
