“Diptych: Downtown Austin, Southside” two 12×24 canvases in 14×50 frame

In Autumn of 2018, soon after the floods in Austin, the rain cleared and it was a Sunday afternoon when my wife & I went to the Long Center to see a matinee of the Tapestry Dance Company, America’s only professional Tap Dance company, based right here in Austin. We love their shows, and have been to many, and help them out as volunteers etc. Anyway, when we walked out of the theater, this acrylic painting pretty much represents our view of our city, which we love.
