Here is a “Capitol View” looking up from the floor of the Texas State Capitol, from a photograph made by the artist cjo during a visit to the Texas Book Festival on ‎Sunday, ‎October ‎26, ‎2014, ‏‎4:05 PM. The concentrate circles and the light and the seal of Texas all conspire to appear like a giant Eye of Texas looking down upon the viewer, while a Texas DPS officer looks down from the railed rotunda walkway immediately above.
