Acia Gray is the co-founder and chief choreographer of Tapestry Austin, the world’s only full-time professional tap dance company. Siobhan Alexis has been a featured dancer and instructor for Tapestry.
This painting portrays an event witnessed by the artist, a private birthday party for former Tapestry Board President Sandy Stewart, where Acia, Siobhan, and Sandy )not seen here) performed a tap dance number choreographed by Siobhan especially for Sandy’s birthday.
